I have loved the body and movement since I was a little girl dreaming of dancing on the stage. After my young career as a contemporary dancer, I earned a degree in Kinesiology from George Washington University. I worked alongside Physical Therapists at the National Rehabilitation Hospital as well as outpatient clinics. I observed much of what brought people relief was the hands on treatment of massage and passive stretching. When I discovered Thai massage (A.K.A. Lazy Mans Yoga) and how to integrate some of these elements into table massage I knew I had found another passion. The ability to connect with another, and help them feel better was empowering and gratifying.
Over the last decade+ I have been honing my skills as a body worker and have never stopped learning. Movement therapy thru the study and practice of yoga, the mind/body/spiritual impacts of Pranayama, meditation and acupressure, and the study of Ayurveda deepened my ability to guide healing. I love empowering clients. Bodywork and the other modalities I offer can give you tools as you strive toward optimal health, joy, and contentment.
